The APC has pushed back its House of Representatives primary by one day, moving it from Friday, May 15 to Saturday, May 16, 2026.
Party spokesperson Felix Morka said the change affected only the House of Reps contest. All other primary dates for the 2027 elections remain as planned.
Under the revised timetable:
1. House of Representatives primary – Saturday, May 16, 2026
2. Senate primary– Monday, May 18, 2026
3. State House of Assembly primary – Wednesday, May 20, 2026
4. Governorship primary – Thursday, May 21, 2026
5. Presidential primary – Saturday, May 23, 2026
