APC releases list of disqualified House of Reps aspirants ahead of 2027 primary poll

Abia APC will deliver over 80 per cent

The All Progressives Congress has published a list of House of Representatives aspirants marked “not cleared” in Ondo, Bauchi, Ebonyi, Kogi and Rivers states ahead of its National Assembly primaries for the 2027 elections.

National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka said the list came from screening exercises conducted by party committees in line with established procedures. The APC did not give specific reasons for the “not cleared” status.

– Olusegun Victor Ategbole – Akoko South-East/South-West
– Seun Oluwashina Ajongbolo – Akoko South-East/South-West
– Rt. Hon. Arowole Ayodeji Samuel – Owo/Ose
– Morufu Tosin Ibrahim – Akoko North-East/North-West
– Oseni Oyeniyi – Akoko North-East/North-West
– Olaleye John Adedipe – Akoko North-East/North-West

*Bauchi State*
– Dr. Bashir Ibrahim Bello – Darazo/Ganjuwa

– Hon. Idu Igariwe – Afikpo/Edda

*Kogi State*
– Sanni Salau Ogembe – Okene/Ogori-Magongo

Elsewhere, Jamila Mani won the APC primary for Mani/Bindawa in Katsina State. In Adamawa, direct primaries in Girei, Yola North and Yola South were disrupted after officials failed to arrive, with members waiting hours without communication.
