Nigeria Centre of Disease Control NCDC said there was no trace of animal to human transmission of Anthrax in the country.
The Head of One Health Division of the NCDC, Dr. Nasir Ahmed said the organization was vigilant and monitoring the situation in Suleja where the first case was directed.

Emir of Suleja Muhammadu Auwal Ibrahim has also mobilised district heads to report any case of Animal mortality in their domains and avoid consuming the meat without verification from veterinary officers.
