A rabid supporter of President Bola Tinubu and one of the vocal publicists who took the umbrage for the president during the 2023 electioneering, Barrister Jesutega Onokpasa, has blasted him (president) for appointing a critic, Barrister Daniel Bwala as his Special Adviser on Public Communication and Media, describing the appointment as bizarre and macabre.
An obviously angry Onokpasa, in a video on WhatsApp, took exception to how Tinubu discarded those who stuck out their necks and took the bullet for him when the opposition, including Bwala, was running rings round him in a bid to de-market and render him unelectable at the poll.
He said that the president disgraced him and others, stabbed them in the back by appointing a man who called him a drug baron during the campaign.
Aghast, he asked: “what is going on, Your Excellency? What happened to you? You will attack Yahaya Bello; you will attack el-Rufai; you will abandon Femi Fani Kayode…We supported you….’
He taught President Tinubu a bit of theology when he declared that whoever discards man would be discarded by God.
