The Peoples Democratic Party’s Screening appeal panel has disqualified Tony Nwoye, Valentine Ozigbo, and others from participating in Anambra State primary election.
The appeal panel upheld the Report of the Jubril Ahmed-led three (3) Ad-Hoc Ward Congresses Electoral Committee that conducted the three (3) Ad-Hoc delegates’ congresses that took place in 326 wards in Anambra State on the 1st of May, 2022.
The panel hinged its decision on the thorough reading and understanding of the issues raised in a number of petitions received by party members.
According to the panel, the decision to disqualify them was reached, “having painstakingly read through the petitions, listened to oral presentations of all the contending parties.”
