Four years after losing his re-election bid, former Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode has met with Predident Bola Tinubu, the man who anointed him for governor in 2015. Ambode was in office from 2015 to 2019.

The meeting was said to have been facilitated by the incumbent governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and former Minister of Works, Babatunde Fashola.

The plan to reconcile Ambode and Tinubu was facilitated by the duo during the celebrations of Ambode’s 60th birthday.

It would be recalled that Ambode left the political scene after he lost the guber primary election of the All Progressives Congress, APC, to Governor Babajide Sanwoolu in 2019.
