The alleged Land grabbing exercise carried out by the chairman was without recourse to title documents, indigenization policy and others requirements.

He warned on the consequences of break down of law and order, if the council chairman, Abu Giri and his agents’ action persisted.
He recalled how some shops built many years ago were sold out under the guise of contractual agreement, while shops were built directly in front of shops of local owners, discouraging occupants in the old shops.
He also said that his actions also portended a lot of danger to both pedestrians and motorists and could trigger unabatedg crises in the town.
He gave other instances on some allocated plot of lands unilaterally taking over by the council, which was a clear indication that his second coming to the area council was how to make more money.
He regretted the support of members of the group to the council chairman, warning that his conducts would clearly work against the chances of the party in the forthcoming general elections.
