President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has extended his heartfelt condolences to the Chief Medical Director of the Federal University of Health Sciences Teaching Hospital, Azare, Dr. Dauda Katagum, over the passing of his brother, Rear Admiral Musa Bello Katagum.
The Senate President described the death of the senior military officer at the age of 55 as a painful loss to both his immediate family and the nation at large.
The late Rear Admiral, widely known as “Commander Katagum,” had a distinguished career in the Nigerian Navy, rising to the prestigious position of Chief of Naval Operations.
Senator Akpabio, who had known the deceased since 2006, praised his single-minded devotion to duty and clinical efficiency, noting that these qualities propelled him through various positions of responsibility within the military establishment.
