AIG Zone XI commends Ooni of Ife for promoting Yoruba culture and tradition

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, has been commended for upholding Yoruba traditions, culture, and heritage.

The AIG Zone XI Command, Osogbo in Osun State, AIG Olarewaju Yomi Oladimeji gave this commendation during his official visit to the Ooni’s Palace in Ife.

AIG Oladimeji, informed the gathering which consisted of traditional leaders, captains of industries, security officers and various groups of people about Inspector General of Police IGP Olukayode Adeolu Egbetokun’s security agenda.

He encouraged them to support in the fight against crime and criminality for the society to be saved and secured.

The Zone XI Police boss, and his entourage, were wholeheartedly welcomed by the imperial Majesty and the entire people of Ile Ife which is the cradle of Yoruba land as they wished him well in all his future endeavours.

Welcoming the AIG Zone XI and his entourage to his palace, the Ooni of Ife, who lauded the efforts of the Police in combating criminal activities, enjoined the Police not to relent.

The famous traditional ruler further called on the people to always cooperate with the security agents in protecting life and property while appreciating the Police officers for visiting him.

On AIG’s entourage is DC Zonal Op’s DCP Felix Ohagwu, DC ZDFA DCP Reuben Abiola, DC Zonal CID, DCP Nelson Nwamanna, all Assistant Commissioners of Police at the Zonal headquarters, OC Zonal Intelligent and PPRO Zone XI Command Osogbo.
