Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Ikanade Agba, is optimistic that Nigeria and Nigerians will witness peace and prosperity in 2023.
Agba, in his New Year message, specifically prayed that the new year would bring “peace, pleasant surprises and prosperity for every Nigerian and also for our dear country.”
The message was posted on his social media handles.
He had on the eve of the new year posted and tweeted a review of the journey through 2022.
Read him: “As the year draws to a close today, I reflect on the tremendous work done by the Ministry in improving citizens’ participation in the budgeting process, preparation & implementation of our development plans, project evaluation through Eyemark and transparency in governance with the OGP.
“I’m continually inspired by Mr President, the Vice-president, the Honourable Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, and every member of the FEC for their unwavering commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy to Nigerians through impactful programmes and policies.
“Highly appreciative of the support from our development partners and the critique and feedback from the private sector and citizens on social media as they help to improve the quality and effectiveness of government programmes.
“As Minister of State, Budget and National Planning, I will not cease to provide service to the best of my ability and ensure the sustainability of our achievements.
“Let us continue the collaborations and good works in 2023.”
