Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Ikanade Agba, on Tuesday inaugurated the Multi-sectoral Committee for the Creation of a Database of National Capital Projects Information System for Projects executed by the Federal Government.
The National Capital Project Information System (NCPIS) to be created will enable the Ministry to document each project as part of its inclusive national planning efforts on works and services embarked upon by the Federal Government of Nigeria from 2007-2022.
Among other mandates, according to Agba in a tweet on his Twitter handle @ClemAgba, “the committee is expected to revisit contracts governing major infrastructure projects with a view to reviewing critical cost factors and ensuring that associated risks are defused, properly allocated, and shared.”
