Immediate past Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, and frontline governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress 8n Edo State, Prince Clem Ikanade Agba, has felicitated the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Senator George Akume, on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
In a letter dated December 27, 2023 to the SGF, Agba thanked God for the gift of life and for taking the celebrator into the exclusive and respected club of senior citizens.

“Attaining age 70, as you rightly pointed out at the Tuesday, December 26, 2023 colloquium in Makurdi organized in your honour by the Benue State Government, is not easy, especially on the African continent where life expectancy is short- and, about 52.98 years in Nigeria as of 2020 (World Bank report).
“While thanking God for the gift of life and for taking you into the exclusive and respected club of senior citizens- as one of the newest septuagenarians on earth- I pray that He would renew your strength and imbue you with more wisdom to discharge the onerous responsibilities of your office as Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) towards the success of the administration of His Excellency, President Bola Tinubu, GCFR.
“May the good Lord bless both the years in your life and the life in your years as you continue to render purposeful services to our dear nation.
“Please accept my best wishes.
