Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Ikanade Agba, emphatically delivered the three units in his Uneme Uzanu Communities to the presidential standard-bearer of the All Progressives Congress, APC , Senator Bola Tinubu in Saturday’s presidential poll.
He also delivered the units to the Edo North Senatorial candidate of the party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, and the Etsako Federal Constituency candidate, Dekeri Anamero Danco.
They are Unit 8 (Uzanu), Unit 9 (Ukpeko-Uzanu) and Unit 18 (Udochi-Uzanu).
In the presidential poll, APC scored 309 votes in Unut 8, 184 votes in Unit 9 and 131 votes in Unit 18 to beat the PDP which scored 20, 42, and 7 votes and LP which scored 35, 19 and 3 votes respectively
In the Senate poll, APC scored 338 in Unit 8, 203 in Unit 9 and 139 in Unit 18 to down PDP with 18, 49 and 7 votes and LP with 7, 6 and 1 votes respectively.
In the House of Representatives poll, APC scored 329 votes in Unit 8, 196 in Unit 9 and 132 in Unit 18 to brush aside PDP with 14, 50 and 9 votes as well as LP with 12, 3 and 1 votes respectively.
With these figures, the Uneme Uzanu communities delivered an average of 87 per cent of votes for all candidates of the APC.
