Again, EFCC invites Femi Fani-Kayode after court sitting, detains him

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have detained a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode.

He was invited to the office of the Commission after appearing before a Federal High Court in Ikoyi in connection with in a case of alleged forgery of medical records.

The operatives moved the former minister to a nearby EFCC office, apparently for further questioning and administrative procedures.

This development came on the heels of his invitation by the Commission on November 23, 2021.

He had interacted with operatives of the Commission for some hours and reportedly allowed to go home on that day.
