The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) has attributed the power outage in Lugbe and its surrounding areas in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to a technical fault, which is being addressed.
AEDC, in a post on its X handle on Friday, said it was already working on the faulty feeder supplying electricity to the region.
It said the affected areas include Lugbe Primary, Zuma Steel, Kapwa Village, NIA Junior/Senior, Tipper Garage, and Tudu Wada.
Other areas impacted by the outage are, Peace Village, video club, CRD, 1R, T-Pumpy estate, new site, back of Dunamis, Jedo, Forte Royal Estates, and surrounding neighbourhoods.
“We regret to inform you that the power outage is due to a technical fault on the feeder serving these areas,” the statement said.
