The family of Anthony Adeniyi Adeosun, popularly called Sparrow, has released burial arrangements for the late businessman, even as his wife, former Minister of Finance Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, paid a moving tribute with a final love-up photograph of the couple.
Adeosun died on Tuesday, August 5, 2026. The burial programme according to a report by The Eagle Online on Sunday outlined three days of events in Lagos to honour his life.

According to the arrangement signed by Wale Adeosun, proceedings will begin with:
– Night of Tributes – Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at 5:00pm
Venue: Harbour Point Event Centre, Wilmot Point Road, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Dress Code: White
– Funeral Service – Thursday, August 13, 2026 at 10:00am
Venue: RCCG, City of David, Trinity Towers, Chief Yesufu Abiodun Oniru Road, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Dress Code: Blue

As the family made the arrangements public, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun shared a poignant love-up photograph of herself and her husband on social media.
“Farewell my beloved husband and best friend,” she wrote, in what many followers described as a heartbreaking farewell to her partner of many years.
The post has since drawn an outpouring of condolences from political associates, friends, and Nigerians who remembered Adeosun’s quiet support for his wife during her time in public service.
