The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has debunked reports claiming that the party has selected a candidate for the 2026 governorship election in Osun State.

The ADC National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, made this known via a statement issued on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.

Abdullahi described the claims as “false and should be disregarded”.

“For the avoidance of doubts, the ADC remains committed to the highest standards of internal democracy, anchored on a free, fair and transparent electoral process.”
