The 2027 race blew open Sunday as Peter Obi and Musa Kwankwaso stormed the NDC secretariat in Abuja, effectively quitting the crisis-ridden ADC.
Cheered by supporters, the 2023 third and fourth place finishers were reportedly hosted by NDC Chairman Moses Cleopas and National Leader Seriake Dickson — a move that could merge the Obidient and Kwankwasiyya bases.
Both joined ADC to challenge Tinubu in 2027.
But a leadership tussle, now headed to the Federal High Court after a Supreme Court order, made ADC untenable.
Obi says his ADC run “had ended.” Kwankwaso told supporters to “watch out,” but his NDC arrival says enough.
