A lady, simply referred to as Olivia, has been rescued from the hands of Alex, a suspected ritualist-otherwise known as “Yahoo Plus boy”, in his hotel room in Abuja.
A video of the incident, which is trending and doing the rounds on social media, showed that the lady was stripped naked by the suspected ritualist and hand her hands and leg tied up and was about to be strangled by the man, when help came in the nick of time.
Reports said that the episodic screams by the lady was what attracted the staff members of the hotel who rushed to the room to rescue her.
The incident was said to have happened in one of the popular hotels located in Wuse Zone 5, Abuja.
The ritualist sellotaped the lady’s hands, legs, and neck.
The shocked hotel staff members could be heard saying it was the lady’s consistent screams that adverted their attention and saved her.
The hotel staff member admonished the lady for visiting the said man in his room.
They scolded the man for trying to use the lady for “ritual” purposes.
They ordered the man to untie the lady while the lady used her dress to cover her naked body.
The police, as learnt, have already arrested Alex.
