The Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Nasarawa State has assured aspirants vying for various political positions in the 2027 general elections of a level playing ground.
This is contained in a statement issued by its Acting Chairman, Mr Ibrahim Ajegena and made available to newsmen on Monday in Lafia.
He urged the aspirants to play the game by its rules for the progress and development of the country.
” We further urge all aspirants, leaders, and members of the party to play the game by its rules for the progress and development of the party in the state,” he said.
Ajegena also reiterated the commitment of the party to win elections, as it did during the 2023 general elections.
” The party won two senatorial seats, two House of Representatives seats, and three House of Assembly seats in the state.
“We want all aspirants vying for different political positions to know that the party is supreme,” he said
The chairman said that nobody owns the party in the state.
“We want to advise all aspirants to go about their consultations without acrimony,” he added.
