The presidential rally of the All Progressive Congress (APC) took place in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, on Thursday, with its candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, charging the people of the state to vote for him and all APC candidates in the coming general elections in February and March.
Tinubu and his entourage were greeted by a crowd of supporters that thronged Nelson Mandela Freedom Park in Osogbo, the venue of the rally.
The APC presidential candidate, who was highly elated, described the broom, the insignia of the APC, as a symbol of freedom, said the “freedom” achieved four years ago would become more meaningful if APC candidates were re-elected.
Tinubu promised to implement his 16-point plan if elected as Nigeria’s next president.
According to him, “We will establish industries; we will have registration centres, you that have gone to the university and have got degrees, separately, we will provide jobs for you. They didn’t send you to schools to suffer in vain, you will prosper; you will become lawyers, doctors and great people.
“The ones they are saying, we have seen it. They use small thing to try them. We tried you to be in government but you are causing crisis and attacking our members. We have been fighting ever since, we fought for three years for Aregbesola before we got it from the PDP. Or have you forgotten?”
The APC presidential candidate thanked the people of Osun State for demonstrating their unalloyed support to Mr Gboyega Oyetola and the party, saying truth shall prevail very soon.
Immediate past governor of the state, Mr Gboyega Oyetola, appreciated the APC teeming supporters and entire people of the state for their complete love to him till date.
Mr Oyetola urged the people to troop out in large numbers during the coming general election and vote for the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the next Nigeria President.
Mr Oyetola, who promised that Asiwaju Tinubu was the only presidential candidate that could turn the fortunes of the entire country round among other presidential candidates in the country, said his leadership would affect all and sundry positively.
