The people of Alor community in the Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State have donated N30 million to the Minister of Labour and Employment, Sen. Chris Ngige, to obtain the Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The APC presidential expression of interest form and nomination form go for N100 million.
Whereas, expression of interest form is N30 million, nomination form is N70 million.
Handing over the document, containing the names of the contributors to Ngige in Abuja on Thursday, the President-General of Alor Peoples Convention, Chief Uzoma Igbonwa, said the donation was to assist the minister clinch the presidential ticket of the APC and win the 2023 presidential election.
Recall that the traditional ruler of Alor, His Royal Majesty, Igwe Collins Chukwumesili, in a statement earlier in the week, had appealed to the leaders of APC to “assist their son emerge victorious.”
