2023: Another pastor picks N100m APC presidential EoI and nomination forms

A United States-based Nigerian pastor, Nicholas Felix Nwagbo, has obtained the Expresssion of Interest (EoI) and nomination forms of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to contest the 2023 presidential election.

Nwagbo, is a pastor at Miracle Church International.

He paid N100 million to obtain the forms of the APC.

He joined a long list of other presidential aspirants including the serving Overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church, formerly known as Latter Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare, who obtained the APC nomination forms on Thursday.

There is apparently naira rain in the APC, with analysts projecting that the ruling party may rake in more than N40 billion from thecsale of nomination forms from “top to bottom” positions.

Some of the presidential aspirants, who had before now declared their ambitions to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari, include Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Ministers Sen. Chris Ngige (Labour and Employment), Godswill Akpabio (Niger Delta Affairs), Rotimi Amaechi (Transportation), Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba (State for Education); and former APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole.

Others are Governors Yahaya Bello (Kogi), Ben Ayade (Cross River), and David Umahi (Ebonyi).

Others include former Governors Bola Tinubu (Lagos), Kayode Fayemi (Ekiti), Sen. Ibikunle Amosun (Ogun), Sen. Rochas Okorocha (Imo), and Sen. Orji Kalu (Abia).
