10th National Assembly Inauguration: Group commends NASS clerk, Magaji Tambuwal, over successful programme

The Assembly Watch has commended Alhaji Sani Magaji Tambuwal, the Clerk to the National Assembly, for successfully organizing the orientation and inauguration of the 10th Assembly federal lawmakers, which included the 109 Senators and 360 members of the House of Representatives.

In a statement released to commemorate the occasion, Inuwa Umar, the group’s spokesperson, emphasized that the weeklong induction programme and inauguration, starting from the date of accreditation, demonstrated the new Clerk’s unwavering commitment, strong work ethic, and result-oriented approach.

Umar congratulated the Clerk to the National Assembly and his team on their successful execution of the programme and encouraged them to continue with their positive efforts.

Umar highlighted that the achievements of the new Clerk reflected his extensive knowledge, orientation, and ability to fulfil his mandate effectively.

Despite the limited accommodation for visitors during the celebrations, the Clerk and his team demonstrated remarkable administrative competence and wisdom, ensuring a harmonious atmosphere without any conflicts.

Expressing confidence in the new Clerk’s ability to bring about transformation in the National Assembly, Umar extended his congratulations on the impressive accomplishments within a short timeframe.

He also expressed his hope that the ongoing renovation of the complex would be completed promptly, allowing for occupation as soon as possible.
