The Nigerian Law School has released results of the December 2025 Bar Final Examinations, recording a 79.1 percent pass rate among 7,602 candidates.
A notice signed by the Secretary to the Council of Legal Education and Director of Administration, dated April 20, 2026, showed 212 candidates earned First Class honours.
The breakdown indicates 1,216 candidates obtained Second Class Upper division, 2,961 made Second Class Lower, and 1,622 recorded a Pass.
Another 314 candidates had Conditional Pass, while 1,067 failed. The council said 210 candidates were absent.
In total, 6,011 of 7,602 candidates passed outright. With Conditional Pass included, 6,325 cleared the exam, representing 83.2 percent of those who sat.
The Council of Legal Education said details of screening and the Call to the Bar ceremony will be sent to candidates via their portals on the Nigerian Law School website. No date for the Call was given in the notice.
