Tears as Ariyo Dare-Atoye is buried in his hometown, Igbara-Odo in Ekiti State

Tears flowed freely on Monday morning as the remains of the lats rights activist, Mr Ariyo Dare-Atoye, were buried in his hometown, Igbara-Odo, in Ekiti State.

With members of his tribe of activists, friends and family members fully on ground to pay their last respects, Ariyo Dare-Atoye’s remains were interred at exactly 11 am.

The burial followed a Service at the Anglican Church, Igbara-Odo. He was buried at the Anglican Church burial ground on the premises of the church.

Shortly after the burial, friends led by Mr Deji Adeyanju, visited the family house of the Atoyes to commiserate with his father.

Adeyanju, who lamented that good peoplecwere dying early, said that the evil ones were living into their full old ages.

He said that the late Ariyo Dare-Atoye was an epitome of goodness and Godliness.

He thanked Ariyo Dare-Atoye’s father for his cooperation with his friends to enable them organise elaborate burial arrangements for him in Abuja before his remains were brought home to Igbara-Odo for interment.

The family profusely thanked Ariyo Dare-Atoye’s friends for their show of love during his hospitalisation, death and burial. The family prayed that the Almighty God would protect Ariyo Dare-Atoye’s friends, grant them long life and journey mercies to their various destinations.
