The Chief Executive Officer of Klass Five Hotel, Adesoji Johnson Adeleye, has been assassinated.
Adeleye was killed in the early hours of Tuesday at his residence in the Arakale area of Akure, the Ondo State capital.
A close friend of the deceased, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said that they were together on Monday night.
According to him, Adeleye was brutally stabbed multiple times by his attackers.
Ondo police spokesperson, Alexander Olayinka, who confirmed the killing, said the case had been ordered transferred to state police headquarters for discreet investigation.
