In a nail-biting conclusion to the Afriskaut Elite Super League 2025, Flamingo FC staged a remarkable comeback to defeat Jordan FA 2-1 on Sunday at the Confluence Stadium, Lokoja, Kogi.

This win inadvertently handed the championship title to Reigners FC, who had secured a 1-0 victory over FC Bako on Saturday, amassing 22 points.
Jordan FA finished as runners-up with 20 points, while Flamingo FC claimed third place with 17 points.
Jordan FA demonstrated remarkable skill and sportsmanship, in spite losing 2-1 to Flamingo FC in the final match.
The tournament, sponsored by Afriskaut/Ozi-Bako Foundation, brought together six teams to showcase young talents and provide exposure to scouts and clubs.
The Afriskaut Elite Super League 2025 kicked off on June 13, and endedc on July 20.
Jordan FA’s performance was marked by notable wins, including a 2-1 victory over FC Bako, thrashed FA Bako 4-2, and a humiliating 7-1 defeat of Royal Base FC.
The team’s commitment to developing young players and promoting football in Lokoja, Kogi, was evident throughout the tournament.
Jordan Haziel, founder and CEO of the club, expressed gratitude to partner BAKO for providing a platform to announce their Academy, saying it would help attract more young talents and promote their mission.
The founder emphasised the need for partnerships and sponsorships to support the academy’s growth and development.
