A Benin-based reggae group, the Universal Reggae Fans Movement (URFAM), has concluded plans to honour the Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Ikanade Agba and the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed.
The event, holding in Benin, Edo State on Saturday, 17 October, 2022, will have the Information Minister also as the Special Guest of Honour in which capacity he is expected to deliver the keynote address.
The ceremony will be chaired by Dr Austin Emuan, a former governorship aspirant in the state, and Bishop Osadolor Anthony Ochei, a clergy and civil rights activist, who will act as spiritual guidance.
The reggae group, in a statement signed by Senior Kings Ogbebor (Rabbi SKO) as Chairman, Planning Committee and Rev. (Dr) Victor Osadolor, Secretary, Planning Committee, said the two Ministers would be crowned as Grand Patron and National Patron, respectively.
URFAM is an association of philosophers, advocates of human freedom, performing artistes and others, according to the group.
