The Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC), retired Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Hashimu Argungu, has called on Nigerians to use the holy month of Ramadan as a time of prayer for the nation and its leaders.
In a statement, DIG Argungu urged citizens to seek Allah’s mercy, love, and guidance for Nigeria’s progress.
He also emphasized the need for renewed commitment to nation-building, stressing that collective efforts were essential for greater Nigeria.
The PSC Chairman extended his best wishes for a peaceful and blessed Ramadan, expressing hope that prayers offered during the fast would bring the nation closer to Allah.
He further encouraged staff members of the Police Service Commission, as well as officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force, to use the period for spiritual renewal and reaffirmation of their dedication to both faith and national service.
Highlighting the ongoing efforts to build a stronger Nigeria, DIG Argungu called for total support for the country’s leaders at all levels, urging unity and commitment to national development.
