Nigerian multi-billionaire, Alhaji Dahiru Mangal, las lost his wife, Hajiya Aisha Dahiru Mangal, Daily Trust reported on Sunday.
Hajiya Aisha Daihuru Mangal reportedly died at a hospital in Abuja Saturday evening after a brief illness.
A family source said her funeral prayer would be held at Mangal’s country home, Kifar Guga, Katsina metropolis, by 11 am on Sunday.
Late Hajiya Aisha was survived by her husband, children, and grandchildren.
The loss of the wife is the third straight death to have affected billionaire businessman, Dahiru Mangal in recent times following the death of his younger brother who was CEO of his business empire last year which followed the death of his son.
GWG.ng reports that besides the losses that Alhaji Dahiru Mangal has also faced challenges in his business empire with the most recent being the suspension of Max Air by the Nigerian aviation authorities following the circulation of a video film that showed one of its operational aircraft leaking water.
The management of the airline has attributed the leakage to adulterated aviation fuel which the company claimed caused the leakage.
The aviation authorities, while suspending Max Air from further operations, had nevertheless set up an investigation into the claim. (Daily Trust/GWG)
