Popular retail supermarket in Abuja, Prince Ebeano Supermarket, Lokogoma, Abuja, has been razed.
The fire started in the evening of Saturday, July 17, 2021.
The cause of the fire has yet to be ascertained.
The damage caused by the fire was extensive.
Scores of firefighters were at the scene to put out the fire.
The FCT Fire Service spokesman, Ibrahim Muhammad, confirmed the incident.
Ibrahim who spoke to some media organs while the fire was on said: “Ebeano supermarket is on fire and many FCT fire stations namely Nji, Games Village, Garki and Asokoro are there fighting the fire.”
