The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the postponement of the screening exercise for aspirants ahead of its 2025 Elective National Convention.
The screening, initially scheduled for Tuesday, October 28, 2025, was put on hold due to unforeseen circumstances.
This was disclosed in a statement on Monday by the Chairman of the PDP National Convention Organising Committee (NCOC) and Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Fintiri.
Fintiri explained that a new date for the screening would be announced later, while expressing regret for any inconvenience the postponement might cause.
He reaffirmed the committee’s commitment to ensuring a credible and hitch-free convention, slated to take place in Ibadan, Oyo State, from November 15 to 16, 2025.
“The National Convention Organising Committee (NCOC) of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has put on hold the screening of aspirants for the 2025 Elective National Convention due to unforeseen circumstances.
“A new date will be communicated once fixed.
