The Olubosin of Ifetedo Kingdom and the Paramount Ruler of Ife South Local Government Area of Osun State, HRM Oba Akinola Oyetade Akinrera, Latiiri 1, has congratulated the Olofin Adimula, Arole Oduduwa and Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja11, on his conferment of National Honour of Commander of the Federal Republic, CFR, by President Mohammadu Buhari.
This congratulatory message was contained in a statement made available to newsmen by his Director of Media and Publicity Secretary to Oba Akinola Oyetade Akinrera on Wednesday.
The traditional ruler, noted that, the conferment of National Honour on the Ooni of Ife by President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday was a testimony of his complete interest and contribution to the development of cultural and traditional festivals in the entire Yoruba land among others.
The Olubosin, who rejoiced and congratulated the Ooni, described the award as a recognition of the Ooni’s enormous contribution to the development and progress of Nigeria as a sovereign nation.
According to Oba Akinrera, the wealth of experience by Oba Ogunwusi, in community relations, youth development and other areas has helped in strengthening, rebuilding, stabilising and repositioning the Yoruba land for the better.
The Olubosin on behalf of his royal family and the good people of Ifetedo therefore wish the “numero uno ” Monarch, Arole Oduduwa & Ooni of Ife all the best in his future endeavours and pray that God almighty will bestow on him many more honors and accolades Amen
