There was a confusion in Ora-Igbomina community, Ifedayo Local Government area of Osun State on Sunday as gunmen stormed the community and abducted the daughter of one Alhaji Bayo Fulani.
According to information gathered by The Conclave, the gunmen stormed the residence of Bayo Fulani and whisked away his daughter to an unknown destination.
While speaking with our correspondent, the father of the victim explained that the gunmen came in their numbers and attempted to kill him.
He said: “They shot at me severally as they were unable to overpower me they descended on my daughter and she was taken away.
“They came with one Ak-47 and two pumps action”, Fulani said.
Confirming the report, Osun Police Command Public Relations Officer, Yemisi Opalola said police have been deployed to the scene of the incident.
She added: “Our men are already in the bush searching the vicinity.
