Gunmen have reportedly razed the country home of Imo Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Chief Declan Emelumba in Oru East Local Government Area.
The incident occurred around 2 am on Sunday.
The hoodlums, according to reports, destroyed all items of property in the Commissioner’s residence.
According to sources, the gunmen broke down his gate and set the house on fire without any resistance.
Last week, gunmen had reportedly attacked the country home of Chief Olugu Kalu Ugba, at Amangwu Ohafia, Ohafia Local Government Area.
The gunmen were said to have invaded Amangwu on Monday evening, setting ablaze his palatial home, burnt all his cars and looted valuables.
The gunmen, as reported, equally attacked his mother’s house.
Confirming the incident on a WhatsApp group monitored by The Whisperer, Chief Ugba alleged that his home was attacked by the proscribed members of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
