The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rep. Femi Gbajabiamila, has rejoiced with business mogul, Femi Otedola, on his 60th birthday.
The Speaker described Otedola as one Nigerian who had contributed immensely to the growth and development of the country’s economy through his chains of businesses for decades.
Gbajabiamila stated that Otedola had through his companies over the years gainfully employed thousands of Nigerians noting that he remained a patriot and a strong pillar of unity.
In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Lanre Lasisi, the Speaker said he and Otedola had come a long way, being friends for over four decades and that they had over the years supported each other.
“I must say that my dear friend and brother, with whom we share the same name, Femi, is a good man. He has always been supportive of me in all my political endeavours.
“He has been a blessing to this generation of Nigerians, and I hope and pray his legacies will be with the next generation.
“I, therefore, join millions of our compatriots in wishing Femi a happy 60th birthday,” Gbajabiamila said.
The Speaker wished Otedola more fruitful years in good health, even as he urged the business mogul to continue with the good things he has been doing.
