The mother of the late former President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, popularly known as Hajiya Dada, has died at the age of 102.
Hajiya Dada died after a protracted illness on Monday, September 2, 2024.
One of her sons, Suleiman Musa-Yar’adua, announced her demise in Katsina State on Monday.

Suleiman stated that the late former president’s mother was survived by many children, grand, and great-grandchildren.
Among her sons is the senator representing Katsina Central Senatorial District, Abdulaziz Musa-Yar’adua.
Her funeral prayer is scheduled to be conducted by 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3.
