The State Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Edo has lifted the suspension it slammed on the Chairman, Hon. Tony Aziegbemi.
In a statement, the State Publicity Secretary of the party, Chris Osa Nehikhare, said the suspension was lifted after its working committee meeting called to deliberate on the report of the Investigative Committee set up to investigate the allegations of gross misconduct against Aziegbemi, exonerated him.
He was discharged and acquited of the charges preferred against him in the manner of courts.
Nehikhare added that the Chairman, Hon. Tony Aziegbemi would resume his office with immediate effect.
He thanked all party members, supporters and leaders for their cooperation and support during “this period of self audit.”
