Developing: “Confusion break(i) bone” in APC as CECPC withdraws list of national convention sub-committees

The are confusions galore in the governing All Progressives Congress, APC, as the Hon Mai Mala Buni-led Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) has withdrawn the list of national convention sub-committees about an hour after its release.

After a series of botched attempts to conduct the National convention, exemplified by the announcement of dates on a number of occasions and shifting of the same, the APC CECPC has resorted to another shifty dance in releasing and withdrawing of list of its national convention sub-committees.

The list was withdrawn via a short statement in which the CECPC did not adduce reasons for its decision.  The statement was issued by CECPC Secretary, Senator John James Akpanudoedehe.

The statement announcing the withdrawal came after sundry media organs had gone to press with it.

There were indications that disparate and desperate forces in the party were as of the time of the release of the list still pulling some stunts in a last-ditch battle for control of the process.

The outcome of the National Convention will be critical to the emergence of candidates, to wit: the presidential and vice-presidential- on the ticket of the party.

The APC CECPC is expected to officially explain the reason(s) it took the precipitate action of withdrawing the list of national convention sub-committees after its release.
