COVID-19 Updates: Plateau tops, as NCDC confirms 111 new cases, two new deaths

Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Saturday night, announced 111 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 60,103 cases.

The agency also confirmed two new deaths in the country, as the total fatality figure still increased from 1,113 to 1,115.

The data from the agency disclosed that 97 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours, 7,277 were still active cases while a total of 51,711 patients had been successfully managed and discharged.

The health agency disclosed that Plateau had the highest record of the new cases with-32, Lagos-23, FCT-15, Osun-11, Ogun-9, Oyo-6, Imo-4, Bauchi-3, Kaduna-3, Yobe-3 and Rivers-2.

Total confirmed cases in Nigeria- 60,103.
Total discharged cases- 51,711.
Total deaths- 1,115.
