Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Monday night, announced 155 new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number of infections in the country to 55,160 cases.
The agency also confirmed 4 new deaths as the deaths figure increased from 1,057 on Sunday night to 1,061 deaths on Monday night.
The health agency disclosed that Lagos had the highest record of the new cases with-42, Plateau-25, Rivers-16, Ebonyi-10 and Abia-9.
Others are Ogun-9, FCT-9, Osun-7, Katsina-6, Kaduna-6, Ekiti-4, Taraba-4, Edo-3, Anambra-2, Akwa Ibom-2 and Kano-1.
The data from the health agency disclosed that there were 10,868 active cases while 43,231 patients had been successfully managed and discharged.
