Nigeria has recorded 12 New COVID-19 cases, according to data released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.
The data were as of Sunday, July 11, 2021.
The number of confirmed infections in the country has now been brought up to 168,552.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed these in its daily report.
The infections were recorded in three states: Akwa Ibom-6, Ogun-4, and Rivers-2.
Since the outbreak on February 27, 2020, a total of 2,124 persons have lost their lives to the virus while 164,439 have recovered and have been discharged.
Meantime, a total of 2,534,205 eligible persons had received their first jab, while 1,404,740 Nigerians vaccinated with 1st dose had collected their 2nd dose.
