Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on Monday night, reported 238 new cases of COVID-19 infections in the country.
The figure has taken the countrywide infections’ figure to 160,895.
According to the NCDC’s data, a total of 353 patients recovered and were discharged from various isolation centres in the country, while three persons died of COVID-19 complications.
Giving a breakdown of the fresh infections, the NCDC said Lagos State recorded the highest with daily figure-72, Kwara-28, Bauchi-19, Kaduna-19, Edo-17, Ogun-15, Nasarawa-13, Rivers-10, FCT-9, Ondo-8, Akwa Ibom-5, Gombe-5, Niger-5, Osun-5, Plateau-4, Oyo-3 and Kano-1.
The Agency said the discharges on Monday included 120 community recoveries in Lagos State and 34 community recoveries in FCT managed in line with guidelines.
