The Federal Capital Territory, FCT, and six other states posted 57 new cases of COVID-19 disease recorded in the country on Sunday.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, disclosed this via its Twitter handle on Sunday night.
The FCT reported 20 new cases, while Lagos State had 19 new infections with Bayelsa posting 7 cases.
Others were Kaduna-4, Rivers-3, Osun-3 and Jigawa-1.
The new infections came to 57 on Sunday.
With the latest figures, Nigeria’s confirmed cases of COVID-19 stands at 163,793.
154,107 had been successfully treated and discharged.
The country had, as of Sunday night, thus far recorded 2,060 deaths.
