Commander 35 Artillery Brigade pays courtesy visit to Ogun Monarchs, assures them of adequate security

Brigadier General Mohammed Aminu, the commander of the 35 Artillery Brigade, has assured monarchs in Ogun State of adequate security in their domains and around them.

He gave the assurance when he paid courtesy visits to the esteemed monarchs in the state.

He paid his respects to His Royal Majesty Oba (Dr) Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, the Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland, at his Palace in Sagamu.

Additionally, Brigadier General Aminu extended his homage to His Royal Majesty Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo CFR at the Ake Palace in Abeokuta.

During those visits, General Aminu took the opportunity to engage in discussions with key stakeholders, institutions, and traditional rulers in Ogun state.

He stressed that security was a shared responsibility and reassured the people of Ogun state of his unwavering commitment to maintaining peace at all times.

The primary purpose of General Aminu’s visit was to pay tribute to the monarchs, showing his respects and seeking their blessings and prayers in the discharge of his duties.

In return, the Akarigbo expressed his gratitude for the visit of the Nigerian Army in Remo land, as it had significantly reduced crime rates, cult activities, and other social vices.

He expressed his willingness to support, collaborate, and synergize with the Army.

Likewise, the Alake, in response to the commander’s visit, commended the military’s establishment in Ogun for fostering understanding, avoiding clashes, and preventing disagreements.

He encouraged Brigadier General Aminu to maintain strong relationships and to readily communicate with the monarch for information sharing and intelligence gathering.

Both visits concluded with the customary exchange of souvenirs and gift items, adhering to the traditions of the palace.
