It was indeed a black Friday as the extent, depth and impact of the plane crash that killed the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Ibrahim Attahiru in Kaduna are beginning to be appreciated.
Friends and families of the deceased, eleven in all, remained in shock as of Friday (May 21)night. The crash happened about 6 pm on that day.
One of the victims is Flight Lt Alfred Ayodeji Olufade, who just married a couple of months ago.
His friend described him as “Our Heroes” in a post on social media.
A friend, Onovwo-Omasoro Ali Ovie, tweeting @OvieNews, said: “Rest in Peace Alfred. Flight Lt. AA Olufade just married two months ago. Our Heroes.”
Olufade was the co-pilot of Flt Lt Taiwo Olufemi Asaniyi, who also died about two months after his wedding introduction.
