Stella Nwadigo, a 45-year-old teacher at Christ-Mitots School in Ikorodu, has been arrested for physically abusing a 3-year-old pupil, Abayomi Michael.
The arrest was made on Tuesday, January 8, 2025, shortly after the incident was reported.

According to witnesses, the teacher’s actions were brought to the attention of school authorities, who immediately contacted the police.
Officers from the Ikorodu Division responded promptly, ensuring that Nwadigo was taken into custody without delay.
Muyiwa Adejobi, the Force Public Relations Officer, confirmed the arrest and assured the public that the case would be thoroughly investigated.
