Big Brother Naija reality star Tochi Oke has claimed that 37 rainmakers were hired to ensure that rain did not disrupt Afrobeats singer Davido’s wedding in Lagos on Tuesday.
He suggested that these rainmakers were controlling the weather over Lagos Island.
On his X handle, Tochi wrote: “37 rainmakers are currently holding the rain in Lagos Island… #Chivido2024.”
GWG.ng reports that among the distinguished guests at Davido and Chioma’s extravagant wedding were Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, former Akwa Ibom State governor Udom Emmanuel, Seyi Tinubu, Obi Cubana, and the Ooni of Ife, HRH Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi.
During the ceremony, Davido reassured Chioma’s parents that he would protect and respect their daughter in their marriage.
He also promised her “a lifetime assurance,” according to GWG.ng.
