As part of his constitutional powers, the outgoing President of Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday conferred national honours on some prominent Nigerians, including the former Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, Chief Emeka Anyaoku.
He was conferred with the Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON).
The President has also bestowed national honours on former Governors of Osun state-Chief Bisi Akande and Ogun- Chief Olusegun Osoba just as Alhaji Mamman Daura and Central Bank Governor (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, among others received Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic. (CFR)
Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Ikanade Agba, was conferred with the Commander of the Order of Niger (CON) in recognition of his exemplary, distinguishable, and impactful service to the country.

There are some other ministers who served under President Muhammadu Buhari on the list of honoreees.
